As we turn the corner on Summer and head into Fall, Dynamics CRM users longing for more sunny days can take comfort in knowing that the roll out of newly released features are about to make their lives a little bit easier. From October 2022 until March 2023, Microsoft will be making the features announced in its 2022 Wave 2 release available for use. You can read about the full release here, but to make things a bit easier, our team of Dynamics CRM consultants have highlighted the new features they’re most excited about in this two part post. In part one, we’ll focus on the most exciting releases for D365 Sales and D365 Marketing. D365 Sales Updates
Improved Sequence Editor – Available October 2022
Sequences have become hugely important to the workflows of many D365 Sales users, allowing sales team members to follow a prescribed set of activities while working through their leads and opportunities. They’re a great tool for increasing productivity while allowing businesses to keep their processes consistent across teams. Now, as part of the Wave 2 release, Microsoft is enhancing the sequences editor to align with the D365 marketing customer journey set-up. The new editor will allow users who leverage both D365 Sales and Marketing capabilities a much more consistent user experience. It also provides users with the ability to run processes in tandem across the Sales and Marketing applications, creating even more streamlined workflows across your full Dynamics 365 solution.
A Brand-New Seller Dashboard – Available December 2022
Microsoft is releasing a new out-of-the-box dashboard to help sellers manage their activities. This new dashboard will help keep you organized with insights into your activities, accounts, leads and opportunities. Having this dashboard readily available as and OOTB feature, will save sales teams the time of creating custom views and charts. Now, you can jump right in to assess your work with D365 Sales and more efficiently monitor your efficiency.
D365 Marketing Updates
New Out-Of-The-Box Analytics Dashboard – Available October 2022
Users interested in diving deeper into how their marketing efforts are driving sales performance will soon be obsessing over Microsoft’s newest out-of-the-box marketing analytics dashboard. This new dashboard will allow users to review their highest performing customer journey’s, channels, and marketing assets and review how that are affecting revenue generation for your business. Integrating directly with D365 Sales, this easy-to-use analysis tool will provide a more cohesive view of your business pipeline and help you make smarter marketing decisions in real-time.
New and Improved Lead Capture Form Editor – Available December 2022
Capturing new leads through web-to-lead forms is one of the most important tools available to today’s digital marketers and with this new form editor, creating forms is easier than ever. With a modern no-code drag-and-drop editor, users will no longer be dependent on developers for their form creation.
