Your Business is Not Confined to One Location and One Language.
Thankfully, it’s easy to configure a Dynamics 365 portal with multiple languages to serve your customers or work with partners around the world. This blog shows you how to configure a Dynamics 365 portal in English and French, step by step. The great part is that everything can be managed in a single content hierarchy, meaning you don’t have to create forms for each language in CRM. By importing the Translation Package and configuring the Web Page and its localized content on the portal, you can easily display content in multiple languages.
How to Configure a Dynamics 365 Portal with Multiple Languages
STEP 1. ADD FRENCH IN LANGUAGE SETTINGS

STEP 2. ADD FRENCH TO PORTALS > WEBSITE > SUPPORTED LANGUAGES

STEP 3. ONCE YOU’VE COMPLETED THE ABOVE TWO STEPS, FRENCH SELECTION WILL BE DISPLAYED ON YOUR PORTAL

As seen below, you don’t need to create an English form and French form in CRM or configure Entity Forms in different languages in the Portal. The existing Web Pages have English and French content available automatically.

THE RESULT ON THE PORTAL WILL LOOK LIKE THE FOLLOWING:
In English:

and in French!

NOTE:You can see the top menu bar buttons and some view column names are not in French yet. Our next post will cover how to modify the translation of custom fields and attributes in your Dynamics 365 portal.
