What do you get when you put 60 Catapult clients, partners, and friends in a stylish space with appies, beer and wine? A rocking good time, of course!
And that was exactly the scene last Thursday evening at JOEY Bentall One in Vancouver. As our debut client and partner appreciation event, I was nervous. What if no one came? What if no one had fun? What if it everyone stood around awkwardly in small groups like a high school dance and didn’t mingle?
As it turned out, things couldn’t have worked out better. For me, the event was an unofficial launch celebration for Catapult, which has developed real strength since emerging from the Habanero Consulting Group in January this year. I couldn’t be happier about our progress, our exceptional team and the relationships we share with our valued clients and partners
Some people told us that Western Canada didn’t need another boutique ERP and CRM services firm, that there is nothing new and no opportunity to differentiate from the pack. For me, however, Catapult was formed to breathe new life and vision into the ERP and CRM services community.
I’m exceptionally proud of the team we’ve put together in Catapult. Without a doubt, they are the finest group consulting professionals I’ve had the pleasure of working with. The word “passionate” doesn’t even begin to capture the spirit of the Catapult team. Lars, Jeff, Liz, Rob, Denise, Marcus, Raj, Andrew, Dave, Jeff, Carey, Neil and Joy – you astound me every single day with your determination to make our clients’ business stronger.
Our business partners are instrumental – we could not do what we do without their support and engagement. The evening was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the strong relationships we’ve formed.
To our good friends at Microsoft: our partner account manager Brad Pawlak, Mike Hilton, Mark Spikula, Gordon Weinstein and a long list of others, many of them in Toronto, Copenhagen and Redmond.
Their support has been amazing and I don’t have words enough to thank them all for the confidence they placed in us to represent the Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM products and build on their success in Western Canada. We’re excited about the direction Microsoft is taking with product launches like Windows 8, Surface, NAV and CRM.
Finally, to all of the great people working in our client organizations: thank you, thank you, thank you. To those we’ve had the pleasure of working with for many years, thank you for sticking with us through the transition to becoming Catapult. And to those who have chosen Catapult as their partner this year, thank you for the confidence you placed in us; we look forward to helping you achieve your goals for many years to come.
I also would like to mention Katherine Angus, CFO on JOEY restaurants. As the host of our event and a valuable client, thank you so much for the kind and generous commendations you shared with our guests about working with Catapult. Your strong endorsement means a lot to us.
As always, we are inspired by all of our valued clients and partners.
We are looking forward to the next opportunity to bring our community together.. For those of you that couldn’t join us, we are sorry we missed you and we deeply appreciate your continued support. We’ll see you at the next one! .
We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season, and all the very best for the New Year.
Sincerely,
Elliot Fishman
